I’m Adriane, a psychologist and psychoanalyst with two decades of experience working with people who are going through tough, often life-altering moments—loss, upheaval, depression, or just feeling stuck in ways that don’t have easy answers. I value genuine conversation and the complexities each person brings into the room. I’ve lived and worked across Brazil, Ecuador, Portugal, and the U.S., and I know firsthand how important it is to be understood, not just personally, but culturally. I offer sessions in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and create a space for people from all backgrounds. My style is straightforward but warm.

Who I Work With

  • Teenagers and adults who are navigating trauma, grief, significant life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.

  • Individuals seeking a deep, humanistic therapy style outside of traditional psychiatric models

  • People needing culturally informed care, especially those who feel unseen by conventional systems

Credentials & Background

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Psychology, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

  • Extensive professional training in Psychoanalysis (World Association of Psychoanalysis).

  • Two decades of practice across multiple countries, from private practice to academic and hospital settings.

  • Published author on psychoanalysis, mental health, and alternative approaches to traditional psychiatric care

  • Regular presenter at national and international psychoanalytic conferences (U.S., Brazil, Argentina).
