Dr. Brenda has been working as a psychologist for more than fifteen years, mostly in settings where people arrive at very difficult moments in their lives. Much of her experience comes from clinical work with adults and young adults dealing with stress and tension, anxiety and overthinking, and difficult relationship patterns. She is familiar with the pressure that comes with major transitions, such as moves, losses, and shifts in identity or roles, and the isolation that can show up in the middle of them.
Dr. Brenda's clinical approach is consistent and calm, and aims at helping people develop practical tools to work through their feelings and reactions. She works in both English and Spanish and understands how language shapes the way people think.
She has been with Real Talk for many years and carries one of the clinic’s most stable caseloads. When experience and reliability matter most, Dr. Brenda is often one of the clinicians the clinic turns to: quietly competent and deeply experienced across multiple levels of care.
