About

Dr. Tasneem Rodriguez is a licensed psychologist providing individual therapy for teens and adults. Born in South Africa and a first-generation college student in the United States, she brings direct experience of migration, cultural transition, and the demands of building a life across worlds.

She is a Muslim psychologist, which is clinically relevant to patients whose faith is woven into how they understand themselves, their relationships, and their suffering. Her work addresses trauma and the ways that inequality and cultural context shape life, with particular focus on BIPOC communities. She also works with individuals facing fertility challenges, including the grief and relational strain that often accompany that experience.

Dr. Rodriguez serves as Real Talk's Clinical Preceptor, overseeing training and supervision within the practice. It is a role that reflects her commitment to ethical care, clinical rigor, and the formation of the next generation of psychologists.

She sees clients in English, in person in Houston and via secure telehealth across Texas.
