Dr. David Latini is a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of experience. He has worked extensively in leadership roles in academic medical centers, the Veterans Affairs healthcare system, and integrated behavioral health settings, often with patients confronting serious medical conditions, aging, loss, and changes in identity.  


His work focuses on adults dealing with the psychological impact of chronic illness, cancer care, long-term recovery, and health-related issues. He also has specialized experience in sexual health and in working with individuals involved in kink, polyamory, and consensual non monogamous relationships. Many of the patients he works with are men, LGBTQ+ or not, navigating changes that affect their bodies, relationships, and sense of self.  


His background in behavioral medicine and health psychology informs a clinically rigorous approach to complex medical and relational challenges. His work is further influenced by Jungian and Buddhist perspectives, which shape his understanding of suffering, meaning, and resilience.  Dr. Latini provides individual therapy for adults in Houston and across Texas, both in person and via telehealth.
