Lorena Davis, M.S., M.Ed.

Lorena Davis is the only Master's-level Licensed Professional Counselor at Real Talk. She was specifically selected to join the clinic because of her depth-oriented, psychoanalytic training and more than 20 years of clinical experience across hospital, outpatient, community, and private practice settings. 

Born and raised in Argentina, Lorena works with children, adolescents, and adults, with particular experience in complex cases that require sustained attention to relational dynamics over time, especially when symptoms are longstanding. She sees patients presenting with trauma and depression and has extensive experience in crisis contexts.

Her approach often involves coordination with other medical providers, such as psychiatrists, when clinically indicated. She provides therapy in English and Spanish and offers in-person sessions in Houston and telehealth sessions across Texas.

As Clinical Mentor at Real Talk, she works with the practice's early-career clinicians, contributing to their clinical development through teaching and case consultation.
