Lorena Davis is a licensed professional counselor and psychoanalyst with more than a decade of clinical experience across hospital, outpatient, community, and private practice settings. She was born and raised in Argentina, where she also taught at the university level and worked within public and institutional mental health systems.  Her clinical work spans children, adolescents, and adults, with particular experience in complex cases that require precise clinical judgment and strong containment. She works psychoanalytically with patients presenting with trauma, depression, and significant life transitions. Her training emphasizes sustained attention to subjective experience and relational dynamics over time, particularly when symptoms are longstanding.  

Lorena Davis has extensive experience working in crisis contexts and with patients whose difficulties involve multiple layers of individual, familial, and social issues. 

Her work often involves coordination with other medical providers, such as psychiatrists, when clinically indicated.  She provides therapy in English and Spanish and offers in-person sessions in Houston and telehealth sessions across Texas.
