Erika Phelan, Psy.D., LP
Dr. Erika Phelan is a licensed psychologist who has been in the field for 15 years. Her training and work experience has led her to work in a number of different settings, providing care to individuals with depression, anxiety, addiction, past history of abuse, codependency, and grief.
For the past 10 years she has been working with young and older adults in long-term care facilities, helping them cope with the loss of their physical and mental abilities. She has helped them learn to navigate a new life that includes being dependent on others due to dementia, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, stroke and other physical illnesses. Due to her experience in this setting, Dr. Phelan is well aware of how the mind is connected to the body, how it affects each other, and how best to view the body in relation to self in order to achieve emotional well-being.
Dr. Phelan is fluent in English and Spanish and welcomes working with individuals from different backgrounds.
