Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What services do you offer?
Individual and couples therapy for adults, teens, and children—online across Texas or in person at our Houston office.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We’re in‑network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna and UHC and will verify benefits before your first session and handle billing.
How soon can I be seen?
Often within a week.
Is therapy online or in person?
You choose. All clinicians offer secure telehealth, and many offer in‑person care in Houston.
Do you work with children or teens?
Yes. Several clinicians specialise in therapy for children and adolescents.
Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions are HIPAA‑compliant and confidential.
How do I start?
Fill out the form, call or email us. We’ll match you with the right fit, send you the intake paperwork, check your benefits, and guide you through the next steps.
How do I choose the right therapist?
You don’t have to do it alone. A licensed clinician can help match you with a therapist based on your needs, preferences, and availability.
What if my therapist isn’t the right fit?
Tell us. This is a normal part of clinical care. Treatment is not only about expertise, but also about connection. We can arrange a transfer to another clinician or refer you to an outside provider if that’s what’s best for you.
What happens while I’m on the waitlist?
If you’re waiting for a spot with your preferred therapist, we can offer a one-time clinical intake session with a licensed clinician. This session helps assess your needs, urgency, and fit so we can either place you with another available therapist sooner or confirm that your current match is worth waiting for. It’s usually covered by insurance, and you’ll leave with a clear plan for your next step in care. During the intake, we can also connect you with other external services if you need support beyond therapy.
