Dr. Sur is passionate about providing evidence-based treatments to help individuals manage their emotions as well as notice and challenge their thinking patterns in ways that are consistent with their long-term goals and values. She thrives in working collaboratively with clients to best navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels authentic to them. 
 

Dr. Sur has considerable experience in working with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds. She has specialized interests and training in helping clients through anxiety, work stress, trauma, insomnia, and coping with illness or other life stressors. She enjoys helping clients build resilience, overcome adversity, and strive towards finding deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.
 

Dr. Sur completed her undergraduate education at the University of Rochester where she studied psychology, business, and studio art. She completed her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Ohio University in 2015 prior to transferring to the University of Arizona, where she received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Health Psychology. There she received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral treatments for insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Sur completed her predoctoral internship at the Syracuse VA where she trained in anxiety and trauma-focused treatments, including certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD.
